Fuel pressure gauge

I've noted some owners mount a small dia. fuel pressure gauge at the test port on the fuel rail.

What fittings are required? Is the schrader valve/adapter removed and the gauge then mounted using another adapter, or....?

I'm looking at a VDO 1.5" 0~100 psi gauge - 153003.

Not sure if it mentioned it, but I would look for something liquid filled. On my DSM, it ate the non liquid filled ones like candy.

Thanks for hooking me up w/that 2003 thread - yes, it is starting to look like an electric full-sweep (w/ntirous-type restrictor fitting to help dampen maybe) mounted in the cabin would be more desirable.

60# or 100# max for stock use?

Ken,

I like the 100# gauge, but the 60# would be okay for a stock motor.
