I need the white circle clip that locks the clutch line in the slave cylinder.

anyone know where i can get just the clip locally? part # or part name will suffice.

thanks in advance... I really want to get this car done

I dunno what clip you're talking about. It it just holding the line in place? The only white piece I can recall is a collar that is used when removing the clutch line to hold the spring fingers back so the fitting will release.

yep thats it the collar, i don't have one.

im pretty sure the line will clip in the slave cylinder but when removal time comes around it will be damn near impossible with out that collar in there i would assume??

is it possible to put the collar on later without any problems?

i just swapped my auto to a 5spd and would like to get it moved asap

I would continue to look for that collar. Its a PITA to take the line back off with out it.

I don't think you're going to find one. You may find something close in the "help" section of Advance or Autozone and make it work though.

hope it works out.

You can get this for an 88 F150 from Advance Auto Parts and see if the collar on it is the correct size. It should be but then again it is a Ford Part.

Dorman Hose-Clutch Part Number: 628203

That's the line. It'll have a collar on it. Otherwise you could try a salvage yard or u-pull lot. 88-9? rangers used a similar setup.
