Positive battery cable length?

Positive battery cable length? 38"?

1990 SC w/auto trans - the main cable that goes from the positive battery terminal, down, back and up to the starter solenoid...how long without unnecessary excess? Post-to-post, thanks.

Cable Length

My 89 Factory Parts Manaual lists the positive cable as 34.5" long. It should be exactly the same for 90.

PS: The negative is listed as 44.5".
