Need help....what can I use to clean the EEC for a chip

I dont have the little packet of cleaner I got with the chip and need to clean it better. What can I use and what is a good method of cleaning it? Any help will be appreciated.
 
I believe you can use rubbing alcohol and a Q tip. Just make sure the comp is unplugged when you do it.
 
If you are referring to the plastic coating...it needs to be removed carefully - in some cases with an X-Acto knife. Then burnish the contacts with 600/fine sandpaper.
