Can the Ford friction modifier (C8AZ 19B546 A) be replaced by the GM friction modifier (1052358)??

I have to wonder if its basically the same stuff...or not?

I've got several bottles of the GM stuff I'd like to use up if it won't cause a problem in my M5R2 trans or my Traction Lock diff

Thanks
DD

I use mopar stuff in mine(working for dodge i have tons of extra so it's free) and it works mint.
Friction modifier is friction modifier.

Not use it

Friction Modifier is bad news it glazes the clutches in the locker thus making it slip. If your just for family drives its ok but if your racing it dont use it. I never use that suff in any of my diff

If your going to use Friction Modifier Red Line makes it for Ford you can get it at any speed shop

Use it,if you don't use it on the street you'll destroy your clutches alot sooner.
Also you'll get all kinds of noise and chatter from the rear end on turns.
It is a must for street driving.
On the track it makes no differance.

Thanks for all the replies.

This car will be street driven....and probbaly not all that hard.

Well...OK...maybe I'll light 'em up a couple times just for the satisfaction of knowing I can :)

Thanks
