90 sc brakes

My brakes are hard. A ASE mastermechanic said that mostlikely it is the nitrogen filled ball above the mastercylinder. Is this true? He also said to just replace the ball. And that I can just (safely) unscrew it. Is this true? because it say's do not unscrew it right on the sticker.

Do a board search. This issue has been addressed many times. What causes hard brakes...how to change the sccumulator (which is the ball on the hydraulic actuator assembly)...you pick it...it has been addressed.

At least the ASE mechanic knew what he was talking about......:D

There is a lot of info about these ABS systems......

First thing to do is verify that the pump motor is operating properly....

Can you hear it running for about 30 seconds when you first turn on the ignition.....

If the pump isn't running, it could be something as easy as the brown ABS relay switch that is located on the PS firewall.....
