New track times.

Well, a few of us went to the track yesterday. It was a blast as usual.
I did better my times, but did not really gain any MPH. Unfortuantley, I forgot my camera at home, so I have no video of it, but I believe pictures were taken by other people(that I was with).
I don't have my time slips in front of me, but I do remember parts of them. Here is what I ran.

1st pass off the trailer netted me a 13.85 @ 96.xx (1/4) w/ an 8.7 @ 78.xx (1/8).
60' for that run was a 1.90.

After that, all runs were 13.9x's with the mph anywhere from 95-96.

My best 60' of the day was a 1.884.

So all in all I'm happy with how it ran.
I definately need more RPM's, as this motor I'm running is good to only about 4500 RPM's or so, but I was taking it all the way 6,000 through every gear(3 speed).

So, not to bad for a stock truck motor out of an 85 F150.

Next up is a C4, aluminum DS, and a new battery(who was there, knows what I mean)! Thanks again for the help from everyone.

How did you get that much weight out of the car?!? does everything appear stock from the interior?

half a ton of stuff has been removed from the car....literally :p

No, the inside is far from stock.

The only last pieces of stock interior that are left, is the dash shell, and steering wheel.

I like it....Pretty cheap way to get 13 seconds....My kind of fun......Im junking a solid 84 ranger short box.....I was gonna drop a 460 in it....But nahh..never happen...Too many project leads to misery......

No, it has not been cheap....but things I've changed out have been put back with much better stuff than OEM.

Do it right the first time.;)

When you decide to chitcan the dash, I have DIBBS on the bezel around the speedo.:D. Im hoping mine goes 12s. Its a 351 with GT40 heads, small amount of work on the exhaust and bowels, small cam, 1.7s, h-beam rods, Probe flat tops, and an aluminum flywheel. It has 3.55s in it now so we will see. Also have a set of longtubes that I will have to mod a bit. I have cut a bit of weight from the car. Nothing like you have though. On the way is an airgap and E-brock heads. After that is a few hundo shot from the N20hhhhh.
