I found a 89-91 SC 5spd Titanium/Black fully loaded roof and JBL. Leather split seat. I just called them up and they want $1200 he thinks, but he was not sure 100%. It has a title and looks to be in good shape in and out. The left front fender needs body work like it got kicked, inner lower door is has corrosion. I dont know what it looks like underneath. I was debating on buying the car from them and driving it. The guy thinks its a ignition failure that it has. I can make this a daily driver and sell my neon since I dont want car payments anymore. But I am turned off by the color "Titanium" and the slight rust at the bottom of the door. I noticed it needs a shifter ~~~ but seems to go into gear smooth. Drivers seat is slighly worn and has one or two tears. The rear split bench came undone at the top.
I want to give it a second look sometime this week and if its up to my standards I might pick it up. It seems unmolested except for exhaust and intake pipe, Factory pulley is still on there. I was going to take some parts off it but I could not do it. :( It was too nice to hack it. It ended up being a car that was for sale anyways. I did take the SC off the horn pad. :( If someone buys it other then me you can have it back.
If it has too much rust I wont get it. There is no visible rust on the outside. I am sure I can part it but again I cannot force myself to take a knife to it.
If I dont end up getting it ill let you guys know about its location. I think this one can be saved from the evil crush machine.

Hey Ricardo It doesn't sound bad and as you stated it is to be a daily driver so a little corrosionis no big deal. Good Luck.

As long as the corrosion is surface I would be ok. But if I am poking holes on it. I rather not get it for myself, My other SC is a continous project as is. I dont really want another one.

I hear that sc daily driver is like an oxymoron:D
Hope she works out.

Here is the car. It might be too much for me to chew on at this time but looks like a good candidate for a new life.

I have seen worse.

I'd offer them no more than $500 for that car. They probably paid some guy $150 for them to junk it.

:( Dont do that....

I dont think they will let you take parts off it, It is in the for sale section of the junk yard.

I am sure as time goes and no one buys it, you will be able to take it apart in the regular yard, I was in the restricted area of the place, When I got in it I didnt know.

But the car is in Waltham, Ma

Ricardo,

If you really want another SC Brian Kavanaugh has a really nice one for sale. No rust anywhere, interior is really nice black leather I believe, runs good just needs cats. The body is mint except for a couple of scratches. I would buy it but I have enough, Mary says I'll be sleeping in it if I buy another. I may buy it anyway. He's just about giving it away. I can't believe no one has picked it up. Why should you buy a rust bucket when you can get a really nice one for less than half the price. This one is truly a good deal.
