What is the proper routing of the boost gauge line behind the cluster?

I took my gauge cluster out tonight to solder the jumper over the oil pressure resistor.
The boos line remained attached to the cluster with about 10" of hard line.
I can see a similar line on the left side in the dash kind of behind the defroster tube, and it looks like it continues over the the right side to come through and join up with the line going to the gauge.
SHOULD the line from the gauge go to the right, or should I fish out the line I can see on the left and join it to the gauge, and set the cluster back in .
I want to do this right the 1st time, and not have to try to make any joins lying on my back looking up from the floor etc
Thanks

The boost gauge tube from what I recall actually exits over on the LH side. The A/C vacuum hoses exit on the RH side. You should be able to see the tube and rubber joiner almost straight back behind the middle of where the cluster fits.

The line for the boost/vacuum gauges doesn't tee into anything else and attaches directly to the return plenum just behind ACT sensor.
