Does anyone know if the light assemblies in the trunk lid of the later model SCs fit on the 91 SC. I like the look when the back of the car is lite up. Just having the two small taillights just doesn't impress. I'd like to install the light assemblies were the reflectors are now. If it fit, is the wiring already there? or do I need to pull more wires into the truck?

I had the same thought. But after pullng the the reflectors off the back of the trunk lid of my 1990 I don't know if the swap is possible. It looks like you might have to do some hole cutting in the sheet metal. You'll need to compare the two trnk lids.

Cutting the holes won't be a problem, do the lights fit? and is the wiring in the trunk for them? Most car come with the standard wiring bundle for all options. You just have to know where to plug it in. If you cut holes, seal the bare metal with a sealer, prime it real good, and paint over them. If you don't, that's were the rust will start. You might get some grommets too, so water does leak in through the wire holes.

I think the trunk lids are shaped a little differently too. So the shape of the lights may be a little different near the license plate area.
