To resonate or not to resonate, that is the poll!

I am going to get my exhaust done and I figured id take out the resonator to free up some power and I dont really want to pay for a new one, I want a good growl, but nothing really loud or annoying. Also if I did scrap the resonator which mufflers would have the best sound? Thanks

Screw rear mufflers, a good resonator only. No rear mufflers, high flow cats, high flow resonator, and pipe only on my car.
