self dimming hoods are for welders who dont need them. the best way to learn is the old fashion way, i think. never used one or had to. im just a stupid kid tho.

welds dont look that bad tho....

1/8" lexan is so thin why does it matter if there molded and still 1" bigger all around. that stuff does what ever you want it to. they look the same.
