    Most likely your power steering issues were caused by the motor mounts failing. Usually the factory mounts fail and then the oil pan/engine crush the high pressure line.

    Looks like a nice SC even with the high mileage. Mileage isn't much concern to me as 90% of these cars have broken speedometer gears anyways. Looks like its a well kept SC IMO.

    To answer your question - yes they're interchangeable and I've even ran 1 early and 1 late model at the same time for that matter. My 95 SC currently runs SCU heads that were early castings.
