Updated cluster looks good !
Kevin,
Since the early model crank position sensor mounts to the engine block, you don't need to change the timing cover. The 94-95 cover will work on all years.

The 555R2 is supposed to be the same compound as NT05R tire and should perform better as far as traction on the track goes, but doubt it is any better on the street than the 555R you have now. I'm...
Sounds like something with the ignition. Only thing missing from the list of replacement parts is the coil pack. Suggest finding a good used one to install and if that helps or fixes it, buy a new...
Please describe running terrible. If it's bucking or misfiring it's probably ignition, if it's bogging it's usually a fuel issue. Warmer weather or either supercharger belt slipping would cause a...
Welcome to the club Brandon.

Casey,
Sounds like you are doing the ole SC Shuffle, just on a BIGGER scale than most of us. Is that last video when it broke ?
David
Casey,
Are you about done ?

Thanks, David
I sent you some pictures on FB messenger. BTW, this is current picture.

Pat,
Any chance this new software will have ability to automatically resize photos so they can be uploaded direct from your phone ? This would also stop people from uploading images that are too...
Not sure about the Cam Position sensor, but the DIS module and Crank Sensors haven't been available for many years. Bill Evanoff at SCP just started offering an aftermarket Crank Sensor last year.

Bummer, I was really looking forward to seeing the King of CA running 9s....or even 10s.
Sounds like one or both of the supercharger belts is slipping. New belts and upgraded tensioner springs will fix that.

If tailpipes smell like coolant then it most likely a blown head gasket. When head gasket fails exhaust gasses enter the cooling ports and push out the coolant thru the 16 psi radiator cap and into...
Wow Chris, it looks great ! Can't wait to see it in the car and running.
David
Mike,
Yes, that picture was before installing the lowering springs.

All sounds okay except the part about installing a 5.0 motor. Unless you are doing a power adder with the engine swap it will be slower than the SC motor.
Pretty sure these are 255/45/17 tires on a set of 17" x 9" Cobra Rs

My experience with a recent purchase of NOS parts from David was also very good.
Thanks, David
I would try using a light coat of gasket sealer or cooper spray on the intake manifold gaskets, a small blob of high temp silicone in all four corners, then torque manifold bolts to a final of 24 ft...
