Well that didn’t take long!
A load index of 96 means it can support 1565lbs per tire. A 101 can support 1819lbs per tire. Assuming 50% weight over the back tires at 4500lbs, that is only 1125lbs per tire, so well under the...
A misfire would cause a temporary boost spike. Your problem is likely ignition related, and the boost spike is a symptom, not the cause.
I would try to steer you away from the SC engine for endurance racing. These engines make lots of torque, which makes them great for drag cars or street cars, but they are very sensitive to heat, and...
One quick tip I use on any larger jobs, get yourself a sharpie marker and a pack of zip-lock freezer bags. Put small parts or bolts for any particular thing in a bag and label it with the sharpie...
Any pics of the 89 5-speed? What kind of shape and how much?
If you swapped an SC motor into an SN95, then you will need 3.8 SN95 specific headers. I’m sure there are more options for that than the MN12 platform has, so you should have plenty of options.
Where is it located? Any rust? What condition is the interior? Did any rodents or animals get into it over the last 20 years? Automatic or manual? Sunroof? Color? Pics? Mileage?
Very nice!
Carlisle was fun, but nothing like a good long road trip to get your mind off of everything!
I can't commit yet, but I'm going to try to make it out to this. I need to do something to get away from the depressing craziness that has been all around me for the last 8 months.
Any chance the XR7 is also a 5-speed?
Best bang for the buck is a ported 94/95 blower.
I may be interested in it. Is it new or used, and how much do you want for it?
164 teeth, and it is neutral balanced.
I’ll take the injectors. Let me know what email address and I can PayPal the money.
I would just get a black carpet. It looks good against a grey interior, and doesn't show mild dirt or stains, so for a driver it will be easier to maintain.
Marcellus Wallace’s soul?
Here’s the pics of the DIC

I thought it was at the shop, but when I went to take pics, it was t there. I think it is probably in my storage unit. I’ll head down there Sunday and pick it up.
Sorry, I totally forgot about that today. I’ll dig it out tomorrow and post up some pics.
That wire is not factory. It was probably put in to power some aftermarket accessory. I would just rip it out.
It does not have a fan mount built in. I’ll dig it out and get some pics for you.
I have one that was made by Ken Wagner. I removed it to upgrade to a front-mount. Let me dig it out and get some pics for you. I could do $200 shopped.
XR3W decodes to a 99 Mustang, so that cover is from a 99+ Cobra. It will work fine on an MN12. What won't work from a Cobra on an MN12 is some of the diff cover braces that are designed around the...
