I have had fouled O2 sensors cause a bad misfire. It would barely run enough to drive around the block. After replacing them it ran normally.
Sounds like DIS or coil pack problem or any connection between them. Once had an idle stall problem which turned out to be the sc belt rubbing on the wire bundle to the cam and crank sensors, so you...
You might want to check your O2 sensors, also. A bad O2 sensor can make it run really rough.
PM me your phone number and I'll call you next time we do something.
Every once in awhile we get together for lunch on Friday over here in the Norcross Tucker area. There's 3 of us who still daily drive our SC's. We can do a Sunday afternoon lunch meet if enough show...
I ordered one online from NAPA but I heard nothing back so I called them to follow up and was told that they are not available at all even though they still show up on their website.
Oh OK. Thanks.
That looks like it. How much?
I can't tell for sure and I don't have access to it right now. How thick is the heat sink under the transistor? Edge view?
I don't have possession of it right now but it is about 2.5" square and about an inch thick with a large round power transistor mounted on a heat sink on one side of the module.
I'm needing the fan control module for a '93. This is the small module with a power transistor and heat sink that is mounted under the dash in front of the blower fan for the hvac and just behind the...
I've got a bad one. It's tight but you can turn the shaft with pliers. You can have it for shipping, the pump, too if you want.
Thanks for the thought but they have to be the exact type. A COS was tried but it didn't work.
The code is X1A2. There is also F1WF-BC on it as well.
I rebuilt an M5R2 for someone a few years ago that had been rebuilt before. They had put 90 weight gear lube in it and every blocker was half stripped of lining. Usually 1st and 4th don't look too...
I do believe that we have the 8 tooth speedo gear. My 89 had a jumpy speedo so I changed out the entire sending unit and the problem cleared up so you probably do have a bad sending unit. I also have...
If you're sitting still with the clutch pedal pushed in, does the car creep forward? If not, how far up does the pedal go before it starts to pull forward?
If its the one with the dial on it, I've got some.
I've got a couple of them if you're still looking for one.
Here are my two.
Thanks Bill, Rich has one on the way.
I'm looking for either a glove box door, any color will do, or just the lock & latch mechanism from one. My 94 spare is completely different and doesn't even come close to fitting.
I also enjoyed Wheeler Dealers when Edd China was on but not so much with the new guy. I've enjoyed some of the Jay Leno's garage episodes but not all. The old Top Gear crew are the best.
In my old 35th Anni Edtn the PCV valve popped out of its hole once and I was getting a strange smell that didn't smell like oil or something burnt. It was weeks before I found it. Can you smoke test...
