When should a person change injectors?

I have a stock 91' auto and am going to have engine rebuilt along with rebuilding the blower. Plus I plan on putting a catback exhaust on it. Do I stay with stock injectors and if not how much am I expecting to pay for new ones?

Also, any recommendations on blower re-build and if I should port it or not?

Only 2 Reasons

There are only 2 reasons to change injectors.

(1) The injector(s) Died
(2) You are modifying your engine to make more power, & need the extra fuel capacity that bigger injectors provide.

If you're not modifying your engine, why would you replace the injectors? Do you have a few hundred dollars burning a hole in your pocket?

Thanks 68 cougar, this is why I'm asking and you made your point.

I am doing some modifications as I mentioned in my original message, but obviously no enough to warrant changing the injectors. Also I didn't know if there was a mileage wear time on the injectors. I didn't know if I should or not and I understand what you are saying.

And no, this car keeps any money I have from burning a hole in my pocket.
