steering/suspension noises

so i replaced my lower control arm and ball joint cause i needed to. i also cut the rotors and put a new set of pads on also. and i replaced the belts and did an oil change as well. and i did the strut rod bushings also.

after doing my little overhaul today, my alignment is waaaayy off and when im in drive and holding the brake i move the wheel left to right and i get a knocking noise. and the car pulls really hard to the right, i have to hold the wheel to make the car go straight. if i let it go, it makes right hand turns.

could i just need a really good alignment? or did i mess something up somewhere.

thanks for the help

Unless you were careful to mark the positions of the LCA and strut rods and then use the marks when you installed the new pats, you will need an alignment.

Anytime you replace parts in the front end, you need to have an alignment done. That's just standard procedure and a good way to ensure a long tire life.
