went back to PRP today. got my good blower back with the High Speed Lab coated rotors in it. I took 5 % OD out to be at 38% . wanted to take it easy on it for the first time out. first pass was a 10.418 . the rest were a little slower.with a worst of 10.51. it needed new belts, but next week i will be running an inch bigger (than the 10% crank pulley) crank pulley. so I didn't want to waste the money on new belts for one week. On the last run the SC pulley was WAY to hot to touch, and boost was barely at 19 again. but the most exciting part of the day was the 1.362 60'. I wasn't really prepared for that, and kinda rattled my marbles! It actually hurt! but here is the the slip

60' 1.362
330' 4.166
1/8 6.561
MPH 98.79
1000' 8.648
1/4 10.418
MPH 126.37

once again the MPH is down, but there was a good head wind, but not near as bad as last week.

here are a couple pics, video camera is dead.

Nice work Kevin, congrats! Now push it harder and get that illusive 9 second pass.

Kevin,

What transmission are you running? What rear gear do you have in it?

Have you considered running a power glide before or maybe changing the rear gear to something steeper?

yes, a glide has been on the wish list for a while now, gears are perfect for the car, going through the traps around 6600 rpm. could not go any steeper.

I am not done yet! I am working on making a deal on a new converter. hopefully it works out in time for a few runs this year. but next week I will have the real big crank pulley on it. now i can run a big blower pulley and still be at more OD than i am at now.

Neibert would have the quickest IRS at 10.68 on nitrous. I went 11.05 on IRS no nitrous. that was MPIII, pretty much near stock heads (no porting just a little bowl work) and before water IC.
