Thread Resurrections....

Ive seen quite a few latey, some from 02-03. I was thinking, is there any way for a pop up message for when you hit reply. Something like "The thread you are attempting to reply to is over a year old, are you sure you would like to continue" Doubt its possible since I think the board is just whatever version we're running and most likely not customizable. But if it is, I think its a pretty good idea since we could still keep all the old threads for information.

After a thread is over 1-2 years old it should automatically lock. If someone wants to reply to said thread, they should just create a new one and link to the original thread for reference.

I don't agree. Although some of the resurrected threads are annoying, some are actually humerous.
