Thanks! That helps alot, I am guessing any used ones would be more than likely warn out? if you could find one? If I press on the brakes softly they lights will not come on.

    Definitely a worn out accumulator....

They do have a shelf life.....

Any used ones will be in just about the same shape as yours.....

I've tried 12 used accumulators and only one of them lasted more than a few months.....

So let's see some photos of what it looks like now.

That wreck didn't look too bad, could have wrapped that up with some more bungee cords and drove it around.

You should see my next project SC....

PO drove her into a culvert on the PS and pushed the front wheel back a few inches.....

I will try to get some pictures of it up next week, I have still not gotten it painted. I am thinking about selling it, 180k miles 5 speed very nice black leather seats, cold A/C. It needs an accumulator, set of belts and right now the ride control is stuck on firm. I have not tried to fix the ride yet is this a common problem?

The ride control really isn't a problem.....

My bet is the brake pressure sensor located down on the frame just below the master cylinder has gone bad....

Unplug it and see if your Firm Ride light goes out.....

    Worked on my 92.....

It's on the engine side of the drivers side frame rail right below the master cylinder.....

It looks kinda like an oil pressure sensor....

There will be a single brake line going into the unit and it will have a wire connection on it.....

that and the 5 speed are the reasons i got the car. I am pretty sure they are not original but that does not take away from the fact they are very nice! The seats in my parts car are nasty, Dont think any one would want the car with them in it. You can buy the car put the seats in yours and part out the rest!

It might be the angle, but the D-side wheel looks to be sitting back too far towards the firewall.

?? The only thing that looked bad was the lower control arm I replaced it. Fram and mounting points looked ok??

I sold the car last night. I wanted to thank everyone especially Big-E for all the help. I was a kid when they frist came out and wanted one when I was in high school. Glad I got to own one for a little while.

That interior looks sweet!!! I got to hand it to you, for the dedication of fixing her. It must have cost you lots of "cousin: words

So what are your plans for her?
