Picked this up for $280 a few months ago, 120k miles. It had a slipping transmission, but i drove it home. Thought i'd post some pics.
Been a colorado car all of its life, so that means no rust, but the high altitude has taken its toll on the clear coat.
I have replaced the transmission with a super low mileage 2003 mustang v6 tranny, with a few mods and a mach 1 mustang torque converter for some extra kick.
I think it has potential.. The previous owner rear ended someone with it, very minor, but I just picked up a silver 96 lx with a blown headgasket as a parts car. I'm thinking of tossing the whole front end on it for now, until i can find another '94 bumper to run with the 96 headlights and hood.
Attached are pics of the turd, and the '96 parts car.
It feels good knowing i saved another SC from the crusher. It will get all fixed up eventually, and i think a turbo is in its future too..
