I hate to sound like a noob, but I've never pulled codes from car before. I've read about it somewhat, but I can't find anywhere explaining where the codes are pulled from the 3.8SC. I'm assuming there is a plug sitting somewhere thats not plugged in to anything but I'm sure....any help would be great!!
Thanks!

where to find the plug?

Thanks so much for the link, that'll help tons. My only other question then would be about the diagnostic plug. Where is it on the Tbird SC? (92 auto if it matters..)
As always, any help is appreciated.
TIA!

On my 35th, it's mounted on the backside of the passenger shock tower toward the firewall. It's clipped to the tower next to a similar connector. It has a cover on it that is stamped EEC Test and the connector next to it is stamped ARC/EVO Test. You need to unhook the EEC Test connector from the shock tower and remove the cover. You'll find a separate single lead in there as well as the main connector. I think your year is the same, I just don't know for sure. Hope this helps.
