1994 Thunderbird SC, with a 302 SWAP:D!! Custom motor mounts made by Sampsel Specialties, aluminum radiator, power steering, no air conditioning, street and strip 4R70W trans, 3:31 rear end gears (have a richmond 4.10 for it whenever I get time). Has a set of Eibach 1.5 lowering springs, rear sway bar brackets and bushings!! Has factory SC body kit in great shape, 10,000K HID headlights and fog lights. Full leather interior, sunroof, cd player, firm ride, automatic temp control, a-pillar gauges, 17" cobra R wheels....just a sweet one of a kind Tbird!! I still have the original motor i can let go with it if someone wants too. I know ill never get out of the car what I have into it, but id like to trade it for something older. Id take cash for it but hate to put a price on it...

**As of right now, it runs and drives great but I blew an oil pan gasket somehow on a road trip a few weeks ago. Still drivable and I do drive it at least once a week, but leaks alot of oil and needs the gasket replaced.

I could let it go for $5500 where she sits.

What kind of older car? I'm loc. In mn , u? Have a 1967 Plymouth fury 3 2 door hdtp, mostly done, could finish as roller, going viper white with multi pearl blue. Lmk!

Used a fox body mustang aluminum radiator and used the factory sc electric fan, just barely clears the water pump pulley. Had to wire it into a toggle switch with relays and so on. Most the brackets are off the fox body mustang as well, but because its a 70s 302 it dont have the reverse direction water pump so i had to be careful how i routed the belt, which is another reason I didnt put AC on it. I had to use an extra bracket on the top of the power steering pump where the ac normally goes on mustangs to support the top of the pump. Used the mustang power steering pump. The SC alternator worked in the mustang bracket, just had a wider pulley than all the mustang stuff so there are 2 ribs on the pulley that are not used. (could probably switch to smaller pulley). It dont take alot if you got parts laying around and a good imagination. Worst part is i had to make the motor mounts, cant find 93 5.0 motor mounts NOWHERE, but we own a machine shop so it was mostly down hill.

Have any detailed photos of the body? Closeups? Any details on overall condition of the body, dash doors, etc?

I will send you a PM...

Noone wants a v8 SC?? I put an oil pan gasket on it last night she should be good to go now...price reduction too.

First person to bring me $4,000 drives her home, found me another project and need this gone.

I know it is to each his own, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having an SC if you put a 302 in it. :D

Depends on the purpose, I like the comfort and the styling of the sc's and the 3.8 didnt give me enough power (without spending a fortune to build it)...but now i get to have a supercharged v6 mustang :D. It dont defeat my purpose, im differant thats my only purpose.

Silver 90 AOD 12.03 Shootout 2010

Black 92 AOD 12.77@109.5 10/12/07

^^^^ Im hoping you got something other than these, thats not that impressive.

:D LOL Then you have lost your mind!!! LOL Dont worry mine is currently in the works. Oh and what did your run with the SC engine while it was in the SC??? Just curious what it ran with the M90.... Those are numbers with the old M90 on my car and the other is my wifes car with the M90... Besides you dont impress me with putting a 302 in a Thunderbird.. Any monkey could do that and go fast and I dont even know what kind of number you have even turned in this any monkey could install carburated engine. I wasnt trying to put you down but if you are going to flip the lip then so be it. ;)

I think the problem is that you removed a 230HP/330ft-lb motor for that. You could have had 275HP pretty cheaply, but now I think you would need a good 350HP from a 302 in order to attract people. Or maybe put the V6 back in since the car looks pretty good overall.

Nah... nothing soft here. Im just idling and after thinking it over done even care. Just got back from watching some friends run their SC's with V-6's and enjoyed seeing them best their times. It was impressive to me to see a 13.07 out of one of the crew and a 12.21 out of another that have been trying to break into that next number that we always seem to be chasing.

I dont know what numbers my car ran with a 3.8, never made it to the track before something else would break. And no i haven't lost my mind, I had a full size 78 bronco 4x4 that ran high 12s in a 1/4...and 12-13s is impressive in a tbird lol.

350 horse in a 302 is not a hard task if you know how to build one. Its alot cheaper than trying to get 350-400 out of a 3.8.

What track do you run at in kentucky Scrap SC?

If you were just going to talk about making 350HP, you could have kept the V6. :D Besides, I doubt 350HP would cost you less with a n/a 302.

I would still strongly consider putting the V6 back in because I think you would get more money.

Yep my thoughts are the same Micah. Would definately increase the value of the car with the 3.8 SC engine in it. We also race at Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, Kentucky. Havent been as often as I would like this past year but we call it our home track.

Obviously you dont have much engine building experience, 350 horse out of a n/a 302 isnt hard nor expensive if you know what your doing. Im not aiming for only 350 horse that was mentioned by someone else on here, I got that in my daily drivers thats not much of a bragging point. It helps when your building a motor if you have a machine shop in your garage. :D There not worth alot period, you can get these cars cheap I seen a 95 5 speed sc sell locally for right around 3000 and it was slick, Im not out to make the most money out of the car, im building it to satisfy me not all of the "your car needs to be original" people on this site.

Obviously I don't. Otherwise I could have a 220HP carbed 302 in my car also. But my daily drivers got 867HP and that isn't impressive to me for the record.
