Chapps Red 1990 SC

Not much changed.
I blacked in the bumper "Thunderbird SC" with a sharpie and think it looks awesome. haha, best free thing I've ever done. My tires are VERY old and in bad shape(expect for the replacement from when the tire was slashed) so I've been keeping my eyes open and I'm hoping to score some used replica Cobra R's this weekend. Then get them wrapped in 235/55/17 to keep approx same diameter and leave the wheel gap appearance where it is now. Some time this summer or sooner, I'll be doing the rest of my suspension re-haul with shock/struts/springs and probably the 3/4inch drop.
Looking forward to a smoother ride and stil loving walking out to my SC! Stoked driving it around town and planning future mods.

So fun.

Just picked up my car from the shop today. Got all the suspension finsihed! Added 1.75inch drop Eibach springs with KYB shocks. Did the whole bushings and stuff recommended from SCP/Bill. Spring cups, front and rear mounts, sway bar linkage.

Right when I got there I walked up to the trunk and bounced it a few times and no more bouncy car! Absorbed my push and went right back to still. Then on the road, so much better, now when it hits a bump or rough road it doesn't rattle(shock mounts) and it doesn't ride all floaty! Turns much sharper and more reactive. Overall, what you would expect, haha

The look of the car is so much cleaner. The factory gap is ridiculous, and I'm stoked with the stance it has now.
Check out the gap evident in the pics in the album in my first post and difference between these two pics. So much nicer looking!

So tomorrow is a short ride up the 405 freeway to see how it handles at highspeeds to a friends place in Huntington Beach followed by a cruise down Pacific Coast Highway back to my place....

Geez, pics came out HUGE, sorry for the shock to the eyes there fellas. I'll try and remember to size them down a bit next time I post...
