Supercoupe from Europe/ help needed

Freeze plug???popped?
from my translatation point. its a simple plug which you can easily pop in back?:D

my biggest fear is that the block is frozen and cracked..

Might is be one of the freeze plugs on a head, in the back?
engine pic 2.JPG

Freeze plugs are designed to pop out when the block freezes and while there are freeze plugs you can install by hand, you need to check the extent of any damage...might be cracks internally, lifted heads, etc. If you can get another plug in that one location, you might be able to pressure test the system to see if that's all that happened. -20 C (-4 F) is serious, I think.

Thank you for the info... i quess i have to remove the engine to confirm it and fix it? ill probably gonna too it anyway, but im afraid its not gonna be an easy project...

Hello again... Its been a while again.. but here i am
i still have the car but its just been sittin in the garage...

But i do have some things that i´ve done...

If you remember, i blew my freezeplugs..
So i changed em and luckily theres no bigger damage inside the engine.
i also changed sparkplugs and wires.
and waterpump...

As i moved lately, i finally got MY OWN PERSONAL garage... i know in US its problably a usual thing.. but i have dreamed about it for years... now i have it...
needs some work and some adjustment, but still.. and as i drove my t-bird in it, i just couldn´t keep my hands away from the car.. so... Moving on to my next plans... Strip everything out and gonna do a big refreshing to the car... with new rms, interios, colour and maybe some other adrjustments... because there´s no point driving with this car in the winter so.. i have about 5-6 months to strip it apart and put it back together...
Some pics...(sorry my camera is good as a potato) :D

but, but butttt :)

one of earliest problem was that the engine over heated several times...

problem should be in the cilinderheads... there might be a crack or something.. and as i want to change all these gaskets and other stuff..
One question about it.. HOW THE HELL i should start.. from where or what.. being sittin and watchin it all for a while, and damn...zero thoughts...

Plus this thing... what is that... is that related to airsuspension or something with SC?

Cheers

Oh and anothe rquestion..

is there a point putting an 80/85/90mm throttlebody
to a stock block.
will be running with CAI, 10% SC pulley, polished cylinderheads.
or what else i should do to raise the effiency?

There is no point in using that big of a TB on a stock engine, 70mm is big enough and even that will require some port matching on the plenum. I see the picture of the heads you posted - you should know that those are NOT SC cylinder heads so that is possibly one reason why you are having trouble with them blowing head gaskets.

In order to make more power or boost than what you are with the 10% pulley you must upgrade to larger fuel injectors and fuel pump, and whenever you do that you must also get a chip to match up the parts. The MAF is also most likely near or at its maximum.

The one thing that most people do once they get to your level is fabricate up a front mount intercooler. If it's quite hot where you live then you should also consider a bigger/better radiator and a 180 deg themostat (again that requires a chip).

Oh okey.. thank you for the information..
so next step shouldn´t be TB-, it should be injectors and chip... i have several fuelpumps in the garage(bosch 044, escalade outer pump, and some other, powerful pumps.')
these head cylinders arent the same what i have atm. my friend had em on a NA 3.8- he just gave em to me..he told me, that they should do the job... but as i understand they don´t fit/work correctly on my car?

maximum temp. here is in some days during the summer 95F. mostly its around 75-80.- is the FMI relevant with these tempetatures? other hand, its not that hard to build it also.

thank you for the help once again.

Regards.

after watching that burnout its no wonder you already wrecked..these cars are poor on any surface other than nice clean warm pavement.
hopefully its an easy fix for you,and throwing around the rear end like that with no extra bracing ur asking for trouble.its an old car, make shur its solid befor you treat it like a new car..
good luck and sweet find !

well actually i kinda did all those things on purpose, i wanted to push the car to the max and see if something breaks... after a year full of these things... something hasn´t broken down yet.. except cylinder heads and Freezeplugs...
the way i see it. its a strong car...

Well... i got my first package from US... 10% pulley for SC..(Thank you ScarSC)!!!
however meanwhile... i got a sweet price on a M112 charger...
is the 10% pulley sitting on the M112?
and i guess the car has to wait couple of more months, because fitting and modifing everything gonna take some time again...
new headers, FMIC, injectors, pump, ECU, MAF, TB...
can anyone suggest which parts should be normal- i mean TB-mm´s? injectors? etc?.
and around where should the power be finally? around? 350hp?

In my last post, i asked several questions...
can someone help me with these answers?

and how i can be a member of a sccoa in facebook? and a fulltime member in here.
if it counts, im coming to Us in the beginning of may next year :D

You should post your technical questions in the Technical Forum. That forum gets a lot more traffic than this one.
