    WTB 1993 Steel valve covers

If you have a pair of 93 steel valve covers please PM me a price and a picture if you can. I will be chroming these so I'm looking for ones in good shape, no dents.
    Thanks in advance

    Just a heads up.

I bead blasted mine with #6 glass and clear coated.

Polishing and clear coat would be another option.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea, do you have any pics of how it came out by any chance?

Have you went out and got a price quote on getting them chromed?

I have a set of 1993 steel valve covers, which are triple chrome plated, they are flawless/show quality.
They have never been install and are currently eye candy on my garage wall.

    Sorry for delay.

I don't take a lot of pics so I had to hunt.

Bead blasted and clear. (not polished)

Havn't quoted them yet but I don't expect for it to cost very much. Are you offering to sell me yours? If so PM me a price, but ill be honest I get chrome done very cheap so I'll probably go the do it myself route, but if your price is right im all about saving myself the trouble.

I would sell them to you but, but they cost me an arm and a leg to get chromed. Seems like you have access to low cost chroming services.
I sure wish that option was available when I had them done. That darn EPA seems to increase the price of a lot of things.

Yeah they sure do. chrome has gone up a lot recently that's for sure. I'm sure you did pay and arm and a leg because from the way they look in the picture whoever did those really did a great job. but since I chrome a high volume of parts through my company already, I'll just slip my covers into our next batch
