Really ? Sounds more like another round of SC fiction from JD and his alter ego Pap to me. Manny is that you ??

Im trying a new thing, laid back and relaxed Corey.
First off i am not new to the SC game. I have been around for along time as a lurker and have really not been much of a forum person. I've had my 95 since new and have owned five supercoupes total. Getting a good time out of a five speed took alot of work and alot of modifications! The car has really just started to come together in the last year. I have been trying alot of new stuff for along time and plan on marketing some of the parts that i use since i have alot of time and money invested. I will divulge a few of my secrets but not all of it as i do not want others to run out and start making money off my ideas. I will not be an information hoarder per say, but i will be more than happy to sell these parts at a reasonable cost one i am done with my research and development.
The engine is a high compression 3.8 ran strictly on c16 with a state of the are progressive nitrouse system
The blower is m90 based
The rear end is still IRS with custom tubular control arms that eliminate all wheel hop
The transmission is still m5r2 but has alot of custom machined parts the big one being the gear set with lightened billet gears and custom ratios
The clutch is a two stage custom built unit
so far this combination is proving it self very well and i expect to improve even more with time. I will be bringing it to the shootout next year and hope to have some of these parts in production at that time. Not only will you be able to see how they work but be able to purchase them at a reasonable cost. I have been working with my good friend and master fabricator for years on this and all the hard work is starting to pay off
You probably don't have to worry about anyone making money off your ideas. Around here no one makes any money on anything, not enough buyers. lol But if you can actually make something and not lose your butt on it then you've got something going!
I agree the 60ft is a bit off, Phil pulled 1.59 60ft running a full second slower in the 1/4. I don't find the time to be out of line at all, I'm glad you posted because I know people are doing things with SC's that the "normal" club doesn't know anything about. I don't think 10's are all that difficult with a 5spd using the right hardware. Phil's car ran 11's on pump gas and is a full on daily driver. I am definitely surprised to see you doing it with an M5R2 though. They are kinda fragile at that power level!
The 60' is a bit low because of how we have the progressive nitrous controller setup. It comes in very easy off the line. And yes the m5r2 is very fragile in stock form! My gearset is machined from a special titanium alloy which is very expensive but so far has held up well. Also my blockers are made from a milspec aircraft grade carbon fiber. Thinking outside the box has really paid off on this build and with some tweaks to the nitrous I expect to shave more off my et in the weeks to come!
Well I gave er a shot for 11s and didn't get enough passes to get there. went a 12.079 at 111.30. I got more blower issues, I got to tear it apart and see whats going on.
I gave it 10% more over drive to get an 11 second time slip but it happens.
