    Intake manifold torque specs

    Anyone have the sequence and torque specs for the intake manifold?

    Right or wrong, I always add a 3rd step and tighten to around 23 ft pounds on the final round.

    I heard about 16 not being enough to make a good seal. I will do 23 ft-ibs as a 3rd step.

    You definitely want more than 16ft/lb torque.

    I which I had known that before I redid my head gaskets twice, chasing a leak in the wrong place. The third time I torqued the bolts to 25ft/lb, I never had another leak since.
    You might want to put a light coat of RTV around the coolant ports too.

    Hey I have one more quick question:

    Are the torque specs for '89-'93 head bolts the same for 94/95?
