Guy in omaha is asking 1400 firm for his 1993 SC auto. Has 118k miles, looks preety clean for the year. No rust on the body. Tie rods need replaced, shocks need replaced, windows dont roll down, moon roof doesnt leak but you have to manually open it.

With the odds and ends that need to be fixed, is it worth the 1400? He said it does run and drive great..

If you throw up some pics it might help. 93 is a good year if you're considering doing a brake upgrade. Ask him if they've done the head gaskets recently as these cars are famous for blowing head gaskets. If the car looks good, rust free and runs well its a good start. The shocks have been hard to come by for these cars recently if you want the ride control feature. Otherwise standard thunderbird shocks will work.

It looks like some one gave this car some love. Check the usual stuff...the back story...carfax, title legit, check engine light, does it have cats/smog legal for your state... dmv back fees etc. I like it. The rims are nice too. If all that checks out I think you're good. Any 20 year old car will need some work and money though...hpefully its just suspension. Ask about the head gaskets...or budget it in to your project.

He said he did the head gaskets 4k miles ago. I'll try to get the vin and run a car fax.

Q: Do both automatic seatbelts work? I noticed the driver's side one is in place but I didn't see the passenger side one.

That's not a bad looking bird at all. It does appear well taken care for.
If everything else checks out you should be good at 1400.

Seems ok for the price. Just make sure you have the know how to fix stuff like the windows or problems like that can really sour your enjoyment of the car.
