My Dad's latest project.

That is so awesome... How scary fast is it?

Haven't got that far yet but he is already planning on putting a high back tractor seat with a safety belt on it after the initial test run down the street.

This tractor has a four speed manual with a Sherman Overdrive unit installed.

That is so freakin cool. I have a 1975 Ford 2000 tractor which is basically the same as that just a little newer. It makes 36 HP and goes 17 mph in top gear. I don't want to know how scary fast 210 HP would be in one of these tractors. Your Pop is one hell of a fabricator.

Started tearing it all down today for paint.

Applied the metal etching primer earlier this week.

The last picture shows the tractor he built before the SC tractor. Another N Series with a Lincoln Flathead V-12.

I wonder how fast it would take care of a field? :D

Does your dad build them mostly for fun? Or does he show them?

He builds them for his own enjoyment. He likes to conquer the challenges of making the different combinations work.
Sometimes I don't even know what to expect when I walk in his shop.

The lack of the intercooler will significantly reduce the performance of the motor combination. For sure you don't want to add any type of overdrive to that blower without some method of cooling the intake charge if you want any kind of reasonable performance.

All that said, very cool project.

Dad brought the 9N-SC and the 9N-Lincoln V-12 out for pictures today.

The 9N-SC is pretty much done except for some gauge work, getting the cruise control to work and a high back tractor seat installed.

For those that have brought it up, yes there is no intercooler and yes I have talked with him about adding a Snow kit to it.

The v12 looks like a race tractor all streched out with big bolognes on the back.

Need to get him to buy this.
