Changing egr dpfe sensor. ( best way to access?)

Hi I'm replacing the dpfe sensor but don't know best way to reach it. I know anything involving the egr is a pain. Any suggestions?
 
The best way is to remove the wipers mounting panel. It will give you more room to work. Still tight though.

That's affirmative. I just did so when I changed exhaust manifolds, and the EGR tube. It cant be done without removing the mounting panel for the wipers
 
Is that the only thing you guys removed in order to gain better access?cause I've read places where ppl take of the tb and stuff like that.
 
Nothing else needs to be removed. I don't think removing the throttle body will help any at all. The Sensor is behind the upper intake manifold.
