    AN Power steering conversion

To those of you that have done the conversion posted on TCCOA and what all needs/should be removed to get the job done? Also how much line was used ( I have 6' so it not an issue just curious)?

I used about 3ft of line. Only thing I had to remove for access was the washer reservoir to have better access to the fitting at the back of the pump.

I find it easiest to mock up with the engine in the car, then pull the engine to install at the rack.

Well after doing the shocks on my wife's Marquis, took a look at this and all I can see is the IC needs to come out.

Doing this on my '90 Cougar, just want to confirm, directions r a little vague.... Does the 16-1.5 on the rack end go to orig 90, or directly into
rack? Both have same fitting/o-ring, and if I'm reading right the adaptor/45 goes into the original 90 fitting. Just trying to double check b4 fighting rack back....

    Thanks

    Adam

The adapter installs into the original rack fitting.
