Hello everyone. I just purchased a 92 SC with 69k on it. I must say I LOVE it..
I have owned many Mark VIIIs but this is my first bird. The car is silver with blue interior and an automatic trans.
Just wondering what would be the first upgrades that you would recommend?
Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

The exhaust system first, before any engine mods!

Then after she is ready for intake mods

You in Chicago or around it? I am in Montgomery.

To answer your question, yes def do exhaust first. Then after that you can do bolt ons and a few other things.

Don't do any mods until you lay out goals, budget etc.

Is it completely stock now? What kind of shape is it in? Suspension ok? No signs of trauma in the engine or trans?

I have no goals per say. Just looking for the best advise.
It is completely stock with absolutely no rust or damage. Runs strong and rides great.

Yes a goal or target is great idea. I had a goal, got there then wanted to go faster. I ended up doing some mods twice and could have done them once if I had the right goal to begin with.

I already put new wheels on. I want to lower it. Other than that. I don't know. IT has to stay reliable as it is my daily driver right now. Iam thinking maybe a gear.
What size is recommended?
Thanks, Guys.
Hey, Also. Why can I not see the threads up higher in this forum? They say Private.

You've gotta be an SCCOA member to read those forums.

Just a heads up if you are using yours as a daily driver. HEAD GASKETS!! I have used 2 SC's in the past as DD's, and both blew head gaskets at and around 140k miles. You got a ways to go but, might as well get ready for it before it sneaks up on you.
My 89 I have now has 49k, and I plan on doing the head gaskets with in a few years, but mine is just a toy and only gets driven once or twice a month. Its in amazing shape with low miles and I want to keep it that way.

I would do some maintenance on it be for I did any mods in my opinion. First thing I did was service the SuperCharger, then brakes, fluids, ect.
The original owner replaced the valve cover gaskets, water pump, belts and tensioner pulleys.

I need to have the tie rods and front end stuff done, just for piece of mind.

I thought I was a member??? Do I have to pay?????
