re-installing sun shade and Halo

I have the halo out of the car - un broken
Best I can tell from different posts, the halo goes in before the sunshade is re-installed-correct?
Reading suggest also that it may be necessary to take the full assembly out to re-install the halo??
The only broken piece I have is one 'tang' on the rear corner of the sun shade.

Can explain if it is possible and how to get the halo back in without breaking its 'hook' guides
IF not possible I am considering cutting out a spot up front where the rear of the halo would never come up to so that I can get it on track from the front?

Notched the track

I ended up putting a notch in the track with my Dremel tool ahead of where the halo normally comes forward to.
Able then to reinstall it without removing the assembly.
Supercoupe new seal is really good , in now and nice and quiet seats well.
