Could be. Was any work done right before this problem appeared? I had a similar issue years ago that started a couple weeks after replacing a starter, and it turned out the positive cable going to the starter wasn't secured enough and was intermittently touching the exhaust. Once it burned up the insulation, when it hit it would short out, causing the whole car to shut down momentarily.

Good morning

I would check the following:

- Scan for codes. Check fuel pressure.

- Ignition switch for separation.

- Starter relay (driver side) for loose 14 mm nuts. Check the positive battery cable to relay for corrosion and or damage.

- Chaffing of the cam, crank sensor and coil pack to DIS harness.

- Loose IRCM connector.

- Passenger side engine compartment below the coolant overflow tank ground strap for corrosion and or damage.

- Alternator harness for security, chaffing and or damage.

- Radiator support ground to negative battery cable for corrosion and or damage.

- Fuel pump harness connector under the fuel tank heat shield for damage.

- Fuel pump relay. Remove and check for indication or corrosion ( possibly due to water leakage at the trunk driver side) or heat damage.

- Fuel emergency shut off switch connector for corrosion ( possibly due to water leakage at the trunk driver side) or heat damage.

I sure there are other points of interests members will address.

Let us know your progress and Good Luck.
