Fuel filler neck moved behind passenger side turn signal.

    Looks possible. Anyone tried? Thanks.

Remind me - you own an early or late SC? Does it have the remote door release?

Are there any modern cars that use that position? I seem to recall govt. regulations calling for the filler neck to be away from the rear crash zone?

You mean to relocate the tail light or hide the filler behind it, or?

Have both. Early stays stock. The 95 gets mods. Really don't like the fuel door on the rear fender. Would like to eliminate. Looks that the turn signal could turn out horizional if wired for smaller LED lights which will happen. Not sure if Caddies or Lincoln M-II's were first with this. Rear crash would not be great but only 18" from stock.

    Hide filler behind.

    Thanks!

I was at a body shop a few years ago with a T-Bird they had shortened and done that to. Well, it was still a work in progress ...

If I head over that way again soon, I'll see if it's still there.

    Looked intriguing to me.

Here is what we did with the Marauder. It sits right above the tail light housing. Not sure if there is enough room in a bird. Maybe if you use one of the new capless filler necks it might work for a bird.

Thanks. Was thinking capless, so much easier. Looks like best way is for the tail light to move out an inch to clear trunk and then hinge forward.
