1992 5-speed, 70k

This car just came up for sale. It's a '92 SC, 5-speed. I talked to the guy and he said it has 70,000 on it. Wish I could get it but can't ($$$$), so I'm doing one of our beloved cars a service and letting y'all know! PLEASE PLEASE someone rescue this gem! I just don't want it to go to someone who doesn't know what they have...

I went and test-drove it today. It DOES have 70k on it. Very snappy, shifted perfectly, Teves II works (yay!)... overall, it runs really nice. However, the front seats are torn, the back seats are coming apart at the top seam, the paint job was a bummer, as everything but the glass was painted (EVERYTHING) mteallic black with matte clearcoat, the firm ride light flashed intermittently the whole time, (more so upon acceleration and braking), and there was an alarm system that was rather eager to make itself heard.

Pros:

engine and transmission are in excellent condition
body is clean
has new speakers, stereo, and headliner
wheels and tires (75% ish) are in very good condition
brake booster system works
cruise control works
power seats work
no leaks

Cons:

paint (I just am not a matte guy)
torn leather seats
firm ride flashes (probably needs new shocks)
that darn alarm
cracked dash

All in all, I feel that it is overpriced (isn't everything, though?) and needs a LOT of love. Or needs to be used for a drivetrain swap.
