I've recently moved to Denver area and am looking for a transmission shop that can look at my 4R70W here near Littleton. Anyone have any suggestions?

I see this is a few months old. But, Seyfer Automotive is the best shop in town to take your SC.

They're in Wheat Ridge, so they're not close. They're not inexpensive either. But, they won't take you to the cleaners. And they love high performance Fords.

Thanks for the tip on Wheatridge. I've put the SC in the garage for the rest of the summer and will be doing some exhaust work, some transmission work and hopefully paint over the winter/spring for Summer 2019. Picked up a 2008 Ford Escape with 151K on it for $1000.00 to drive to the train station and back for work. Thought I'd save the miles on the SC.

Also @Jacob Royer - I had a little trouble understanding your post... Who is a transmission guru? Is he in Denver area?

Jacob is talking about me. What is going on with your trans? What year is your SuperCoupe?

I rebuild them, modify them, etc.. The AOD/AODE-E/4R70W family is the only transmission I work on, and I have all the tools to rebuild them properly.

If you need a new trans I have good cores and can have one freshly rebuilt with all the updates and shift firmness to your liking ready in about 2 weeks. I can also do installs if you can't or don't want to do it yourself.

I live just north of Denver.

I'm not a shop, just a fellow SC owner who happens to know this trans very well.

Send me a PM and I'll see how I can help you.

Fantastic! Nice to meet you. I have a 94 SC down in Littleton area. It's currently got a 2003 Mustang 4R70W with a 94 valve body and wire harness connected to stock PCM. It's "okay" but has an odd slipping condition. I'm not quite ready to work on the car yet but when I am I'd be happy to pull the whole unit and have it rebuilt! If time permitted I'd like to learn a thing or two but I can understand if you're a "one man" operation in terms of work habits. I'll send you a PM when I'm ready to tear down.
