Finally after taking off the winter i started looked at my issue regarding the check engine light and tach. Well I found the problem and wanted to pass on.It was the wire behind the fuel pressure regulator that was broken. A simple fix that drove many people just hit cured now runs great. Wanted to pass this on.

Interesting - we've been told that wire is a ground for the O2 sensors, so I can imagine it throwing a CEL. I don't suppose there were any codes, tho?

The tech now functions normal also
What was it doing when it didn't function normally? Dead, or dancing, or....?
Dancing around then would stop
Usually cam sensor/harness issues in that case, but if your work made it behave, it's all good.
