Good info, thanks - For anyone working this type of mod, be sure to maintain OE-style wire shielding and 'case grounds' to help avoid EMI.

Hi, after reading this post I decided I should locate myself a crank spare crank sensor in case i ever needed 1 and because they obviously are becoming harder to find. I called Napa and they said the part is obsolete. I looked online at Rock auto and they appear available part # 1F2E6C315AA, PC51. The pic of the crank sensor does look different then our crank sensors and im wondering is this the right crank sensor part for our cars 89-93 SC?
Here is the link:: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog...0512,ignition,crankshaft+position+sensor,7196

In the picture with the two sensors above, the one on the right is the correct sensor for a 89 to 93 sc
