2019 Epic Drive progress reports

My car is about 95% complete but I'm still not comfortable making this trip with it, so we will be driving the Hellcat again.

After figuring out where I put all this crap from rockauto at. I replaced the missing accumulator. And installed all new seals and replaced the line containing the orfice tube. I also am installing a known good compressor so I should have functional ac once i finish this thing up! Also installed new plugs while they are easy to get to.

Unfortunately my SC won’t be making it. I’ve been chasing fuel system gremlins with the new setup. I’ll be in the 265hp Honda Accord.

Bummer Chris.

My SC should still be on the trip unless I find something this weekend while getting ready.

Got the car aligned today and changed the oil. I haven't properly bedded the pads, but I'm still impressed by the bite from the new brake HP+ pads.

I'm almost ready to go.

Ready to roll. Got the new head gaskets installed, been driving for 3 days with no issues. Can't wait.

Got the SC registered as an antique auto today. No more smog testing or annual registration required.
