For sale is my beloved manual 5 speed 1993 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe. The body is rust free, and the interior is in almost perfect condition. Alas, it has developed some severe engine issues, and I don't have the time or money to fix or rebuild it. It has just under 177,000 miles, and was my daily driver for 6 years. Unfortunately, when I started it last week, the oil gauge said it had no oil pressure, and I believe it may have also blown a head gasket. The rest of the vehicle is in excellent condition, and would be prefect for someone who would like to rebuild the engine, or use the rest of the car for a restoration project.

I'm asking $1000 obo. I'm located in the northwest suburbs of Atlanta GA

The Good:
- The body is in great condition. No rust, good clear coat, and only a few parking lot dings here or there.
- The interior is almost perfect - no rips or tears in the leather, and the dash is NOT cracked.
- it has a new clutch, rear main seal, and power steering pump installed around 173,000 miles
- Fully loaded except for a moonroof, and all interior electrics work - Cruise, Power windows, keyless entry, a/c blows cold, etc
- Was switched over to the 145 mph cluster by a previous owner
- Alternator, DIS module, camshaft sensor, LCA ball joints, ride control computer all replaced within last 10,000 miles
- The supercharger works perfect and has no funny noises
- New headlight housings
- I have new spare serpentine belts for all three belts

The Bad:
- Engine is not seized. It will start, but has no oil pressure
- Possibly also has a blown head gasket. I'm not sure
- the front tires both have slow leaks
- The battery is shot, and will need a new one
- The boost gauge stopped working, but I have the original cluster with a working gauge that will be included.

The car is complete, and completely stock except for the cone air filter, and the original air box will be included with the car, along with two original repair manuals and a car cover that fits this car nicely.

I really wish I had the time to give this rare car the fixes it needs, but I do not. I don't have the time to part it out, and the last thing I want to do is send this beauty to the scrapyard, so hopefully someone here can use her for a rebuild or for parts...

I would buy it but my parents would kill me (I will contemplate whether it is worth the risk). I live In Canton, Ga, which is nearby. I own 2 Oxford White Thunderbird SC's, so there is a lot of temptation for me to buy this as a parts car or to drop a V8 in it and use it as a stunt-double for my YouTube series.

To whoever buys this car (assuming you live nearby) I have some Thunderbird parts I could sell to you (like black interior pieces, 1990 white trunklid, and a few others). I could use a local Supercoupe friend ;)

But dang, you've got a few new parts on there I really want. If anyone ends up wanting to part it out; let me know because I would consider chipping on it and buying some parts that you don't need. I really want that front Bumper cover so bad, and the headlights, maybe the wheels and shocks... crap, I'm in trouble (I might just swap my engine into that body).

The temptation is real. If you really live in Woodstock, don't even THINK about sending it to the scrapyard.

I'm going to have a long talk with my parents in the next couple days; if I survive, I will let you know.
