Modification to use a late-style JBL radio unit on an early-style car...diagram?

I recall there were instructions on how to modify the wiring harness on an early 89-93 car to accept a later style 94+ radio. I think the directions were in the 35th registry site (which unfortunatelly seems to no longer exist). I know these exist because I did the mod on my first SC. Does anyone have those directions? I've spent the last hour or so wondering the forums with no avail.

I've been trying to get a working 89-93 unit, but at this point I may settle for a factory 94+ unit for my 35th.

Your help, as always, greatly appreciated all.

Is Paul Protos still around? He was the go to guy for fixing the early style audio components.

I hadn't noticed the registry has gone offline. That was a great source of data and articles for everyone (not just Annie owners). I remember a few years ago the owner of the site had posted he was taking it down and there were quite a lot of people that spoke up in favor of it remaining online. I wonder what happened? I hope whomever had the site still has the data from it and could publish it again someday.

Sorry I don't have the answer you needed.

I've tried emailing Paul and reaching out through the forum, but no response.

Agreed about the 35th registry. Do you remember who was the owner? Either personal info or user name? I'd be interested in helping resusitate the site.

I might have a working early model. The only electrical difference between early and late model is the amp remote turn on lead - on the late model - starting in 93, it was a 3v turn on vs. the early ones were 12v remote turn on lead. Pinouts are the same.
