Wink New Owner In Tallinn, Estonia

    Hi guys!

I just bought myself a 1990 SC with an automatic trans. I've literally had it for 5 days and I'm in love. The only problem is that the car has some problems

It doesn't have inner guard linings.
If the temp. gauge is correct then the thermostat is probably stuck open.
The driver window cable is probably broken (stuck up but I can hear the motor)
The coolant hoses are leaking a marginal amount.

On the plus side she had an engine rebuild about 500 miles ago and has a shift kit.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction to start fixing her up I would be really thankful.

Welcome - when you say "inner guard linings" are you referring to the plastics inside the wheel wells??

Yeah. The guy I bought it from found one of them but that's fortunately not a rare part.

Here is a link to a digital copy that is available. I personally have not purchased it.

You should also get the EVTM (Electrical Vacuum Trouble-Shooting Manual).
