Any issues with drivability if I delete the EGR on my 95 SC auto?

I am currently in the process of doing a reseal of my entire engine, pulling it out to do so. The EGR is tucked in pretty good under the cowl and a real ~~~~ to get to if it goes bad. I was pondering just ditching it and blocking it off, but not sure if that would negatively affect anything, other than maybe a CEL on the cluster and code when pulling codes.

Thoughts?

All good here. Still get 26 mpg in the 5 speed with 80lb injectors and a big blower. Oh and it passes the sniffer test very well also.
