I have not posted an update on this car in a long time! Earlier this year colonel glen, kurt kriez , randy hunercoch and dan Thornsberry came over and we installed the engine, transmission, driveshaft and one long tube header. I also painted the engine bay before they arrived. Another thing we did is cut the front bumper to angle the fmic for better flow. I just started working on the inlet plenum. I had to make some changes for fuel rail clearance and will ultimately have to shorten the driverside rail and plug it. This will be fine as I will run the regulator pre fuel rails. There is alot left to do! But i am concentrating on the inlet that is the most important piece as far as performance is concerned when fabricating this kit.

I discovered this wierd stress crack under my battery. I welded it up and applied por15 to the entire area before painting the engine bay.

I also put all new ac lines and seals in. Delted the power stearing cooler and installed new lines.

Nice update. I really like the in-process fabrication pics.

I also found a similar looking stress crack on mine (1993 SC) near where you found yours, mine was in the wheelwell though.

All new motor and tranny mounts. PS lines ac lines and seals.

I maybe leaving some stuff out... but should be a solid combo for 10s when its done

I haven't walked out to my shop in a week as i have been busy with work. Got more welding done on my inlet. It's slow going without a water cooled tig torch and also when welding thin stuff to thick stuff. Not the prettiest but it will clean up. I'm not wanting to have to use any epoxy to seal it if i can avoid it. Plus leaving plenty on the inside to smooth and blend for airflow no sharp edges inside when I am done.

And no it's not warped! I have crap on my welding table lol once this part of the plenum is welded i can add the next section on. Cut it to length weld on the tb flange and then its throttle cable bracket and some vacuum fittings. Once all that is done I can start working on the intake and return

It wouldn't take much lol! I have had great difficulty getting motivated on it! 2020 has been complete crap! I should be more thankful as personally life has been good. But Its been hectic lost my dad seems like lots of stuff has gone wrong thankfully my job has been good to me and kept me on top of it. This car has been back burner for sure...
