rear shock bolt

Are the rear shock bolts different between the SC and the Mark 8? I switched to the Mark 8 lower control arms and the SC shock bolts are too long and can only be put in backwards.

Mike, when I look at the Ford parts catalogue it does show that they are different numbers. However being older hardware numbers it does give dimensions for them as it often does for newer application parts.

Thanks Ed for checking. I ordered a set of Mark 8 bolts from TBSC Shop, so I'll be finding out if there is a difference.

Could have sworn I just used the stock T-bird bolts when I swapped Mark VIII LCAs on both my cars.

I believe the Lincoln bolt has a flag on the bolt or nut. They should interchange.
