Where does everyone live..

I'm looking to get the hell outta Memphis and need a good home where I can hang with fellow SCers. The poll is for regions.. but I want city's folks! Cincinnati is tops on the list right now.. but I need opinions on everywhere else ('cept St. Louis, California, and further south). Peace.

Regional Preference

Pacific-Northwest remains about the least known
or discovered area of North America by Americans!

When I lived in Chicago, Chicagoans let alone didn't
know about Vancouver, but not even where B.C. is...!

-Vancouver is calssified as "the" entertainment capital
of the world!!!
-B.C. is so beautiful that it is 1st choice of relocation
by most Europeans! Probably good that Americans
don't know: Keeps the demographics from going out
of this world. Stay in all those other lesser regions
of the U.S. of A. and leave the "truly" God's country
to those few of us that can both enjoy and benefit by
its wonders (!)
-Geography texts state Pac-Westers live about 5 yrs.
longer on average than those living back East !!!
(Due to our more average, less extremed, temperature!

If that doesn't wet your apetite, don't know what will(!)
However, our predispositional preferences influence
habitation plus cohabitation choices more than anything
else, so..... Good luck in the search process! -virgil

Re: Regional Preference

Yeah, but it's raining almost all the time there, isn't it? :) And don't forget the earthquakes. I'm just giving you a hard time.. I've never been that far northwest so I shouldn't be talking.

Re: Regional Preference

Yeah, and we don't have to "shovel" it...lol !
And it gets rid of the pollution.
And it keeps the air oxigenated.
And it keeps the foliage green, not yellow,.....
And it saves watering the lawns.
And it means no water rationing.
And it does have a down side:
We don't eventually die, we just rust out (!)

Re: Regional Preference

EARTHQUAKES???

what earthquakes, I have lived here all my life and never felt one LOL

Re: Regional Preference

Well with that setup who would :) Wherever we move, I need to get my ME degree. Then we'll move up to Flint, MI so I can get my masters in Automotive Engineering. I want to design a real T-Bird, not another Miata wanna-be.

Re: Regional Preference

Welp, it looks like the Midwest is winning. Sorry about the St. Louis thing guys. It's just that I go up there to visit my grandparent's once a year and am ALWAYS bored. I cn only tour the brewery and go to the park/zoo so often. Heh, probably because I never knew just how many SC's lived there. :) Later.

Re: Regional Preference

I'll be sure to do that, Chris. I've been trying to get up there and hang with ya'll, but with the new job and everything else I haven't found the time. If I get enough time off around Carlisle I'm going to try to swing back through Cincy for a day. Anyway, TTYL.
