pics from a haynes or chilton book may work to or if you know of a good web site

See if this helps. Note, on the SC, those 2 outlet tubes at the top of the WP aren't there. There is just one tube. And, on the bottom left side, there is a tube which is not in the picture.

10 is a stud as shown, but a very long one (please no jokes yall) 12 is a stud that the top HB cover attaches to.

Every thing else is correct. One other note.. the torqe specs say 20 lbs.. DON"T DO IT! Thats wayyy too much for all that soft metal. 10-12 lbs MAX! Thats more that screwdriver tight, but less than wrench tight. IT will be more than sufficient. You also don't need 1 tube of permatex. A thin layer on both sides of the new gasket is sufficient. Its about a teaspoon total.

Ohhhh... you weren't asking about the water pump itself..

Well, I can add this much to your other question. The tube which comes out of the bottom of the water pump, connects to a steel line which has that 1 bracket you asked about; it then connects to the water jacket inbetween the oil filter and the oil pump.

Hope this helps.

cool

well that is one down
now does any one know that comes of the wp on the right side and goes under and over to the driver side it has a signal bolt bracket on it do i bolt that to the oil pan it looks like it goes there

thanks
